ABOUT US
The Narwhal Rainbow Alliance is a not-for-profit committed to protecting biodiversity and promoting diversity. Our mission is to unite the rainbow allies and the LGBTQ+ community in support of our cause. We stand for the value of ALL creatures and hope we all find our inner unicorns. That is why we chose the narwhal, the unicorns from the sea as our symbol.
We believe that there is a strong link between diversity issues and biodiversity challenges. Just as every individual has the right to live freely and openly, so too do all living creatures have the right to exist and thrive. By protecting biodiversity, we can create a world that embraces and celebrates the rich diversity of life.
The Narwhal Rainbow Alliance aims to support biodiversity protection through empowering local communities and projects. Since local communities often have a deep understanding of the ecology and biodiversity of their territories. This is knowledge which has been acquired through generations of lived experience and observation.
The foundation also focuses on promoting diversity through education. By using examples from diversity in the animal kingdom, the Narwhal Rainbow Alliance aims to promote conversations in schools about sexuality, gender and inclusion.

OUR STORY
The Narwhal Rainbow Alliance was founded in 2023, to contribute towards the closing of the financing gap for a more inclusive and efficient management of biodiversity and ecosystem protection. The foundation commits to create more pride for both humans and other creatures by contributing to a more inclusive and diverse world. We are not measuring our success by monetary size, but with more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts and the # of people we have reached. Together, united we stand for (bio)diversity.

Experience as an educational and communication officer in museums, providing and developing training courses, project support, and D&I and mental well-being advisor. Also and expert for guest lectures on sex, gender, and diversity at vocational and secondary schools.
